Welcome to Millrise Medical Practice
We are sorry to inform all our patients that we are unable to continue with Saturday morning surgeries after the end of September 2017.
This is due to the fact that we are having problems recruiting Doctors; this is a national problem for all GP Surgeries.
Once again we are sorry about this decision.

The doctors and staff at Millrise Medical Practice in Milton are proud to offer the highest standard of patient-centred healthcare.
We run many clinics for the management of chronic diseases such as asthma and diabetes and offer a wide variety of other medical services including antenatal and postnatal care, minor surgery, childhood vaccinations and well-person check-ups.
In addition to everything you need to know about the practice you will also find a wealth of health-related information in the menu on the right hand side. Please have a look around and do send us some feedback if you like.
The practice is required by the Government under the terms of the latest GP contract to allocate all patients a named accountable GP.
All patients registered with the parctice now have a named GP, this is a recent NHS requirement which is for practice purposes only and does not affect your right to request an appoitment with the GP of your choice.
The practice does however keep a record of your registered (accountable) GP. If you wish to be told the name of your accountable GP, please ask the receptionists when you are next in the surgery.
We will continue to offer appointments to our patients in exaly the same way.
Please note: there is no need to telephone the practice for this information.
Where a patient expresses a preference as to which GP they have been assigned, the practice will make reasonable efforts to accommodate this request.
Having a named GP does not prevent you seeing any other doctor in the practice. Your named GP will not be available at all times and if your needs are urgent, you may need to discuss them with an alternative doctor.
