Seasonal flu occurs every year usually in the winter. It’s a highly infectious disease caused by a virus. The most likely viruses that will cause flu each year are identified in advance and vaccines are then produced that closely match them.
If you:
- are aged over 65
- are Pregnant
- have a long-term medical condition such as diabetes, heart disease, lung disease, kidney disease or a neurological disease
- are a carer
and would like to have the vaccination please telephone the practice to arrange an appointment. If, after consideration, you do not wish to be vaccinated please could you let us know so that this information can be recorded on your medical records.
Flu Vaccination for Children
The annual nasal spray flu vaccine will be available for all children aged two, three and four years old on 31.08.2015 we will be contacting you shortly to book your child in for this vaccination.

are you under 65? with a long term condition, asthma, diabetes, heart disease, have had a stroke or have had splenectomy?
then please book into one of our under 65’s clinic on
Friday 27th September
or
Friday 11th October.
