World Oral Health Day

20.03.2025 – Prioritising oral health leads to better mental health and quality of life

Routine dental check ups are vital for us all from the first ever tooth we or our children get as babies.

It is suggested to take your baby to a dentist as soon as possible. Not only is it important for them to have regular checks but it also helps babies and children get use to the dental environment – the noises, the smells and the dental nurses.

Although it can often be challenging getting your children to brush their teeth and to brush them long enough and effectively. Routine is key for children from a very young age. You can help encourage children to brush their teeth through songs, videos and distraction.
