World Mental Health Day

10.10.2024

It is time to prioritise mental health in the work

As most adults spending most of their time in working environments the World Federation for Mental Health want to address and prioritise individuals within work places who suffer with mental health issues.

Unfortunately, people are waiting for around 6 months to a year to be seen and assessed professionally. They need help now!!

Lets start by looking after each other in the work place, from working conditions such as stress and workload to stress in our private lives. Lets get the conversation started – lets talk, lets open up, lets unite and discuss our worries and concerns.

WFMH suggests a mental health champion in the work place, someone who is safe place for people to open up and ask for help.

Working together builds trust with your colleagues and forms a strong team.
